This role is one of up to 7 appointments which collectively represent a significant investment in Politics at Liverpool, underpinned by high levels of recent growth in undergraduate and postgraduate student numbers. This appointment is framed with respect to the Department’s ambitious future plans, reflects the strategic development of departmental, school, faculty and university research priorities, and comes with clear expectations with respect to contribution to academic leadership with the Department.  You will have a PhD in Politics, International Relations or a related subject and a record of publications of international excellence.  You will be expected to develop new modules, provide assessment and feedback to students.  As a member of the Politics Department you will be expected to contribute to research and other research-related activities of the School. You will also be expected to undertake administrative roles within the Department, the School and the University as appropriate
