An outstanding opportunity for a Senior Relationship Manager, Professional Placements has arisen within the Professional Placements team. In this role, you will be required to act as an ambassador for the University, initiating, securing and developing Work Integrated Learning (WIL) relationships in collaboration with faculties, centres and corporate services areas. Working Under the direction of the Director, the Senior Relationship Manager manages Work Integrated Learning programs and contributes to Swinburne’s objective to be the partner of choice for the industries and communities we serve and to actively contribute to Swinburne’s employability agenda.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in the tertiary education environment with particular emphasis on Work Integrated Learning or Employability initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategies which have effectively improved business processes, increased revenue or increased buy-in from stakeholders
