The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Greenwich is seeking to recruit a talented, well qualified, highly motivated individual to contribute to the Department’s teaching and research activity in Analytical Forensic Sciences.

As a full-time member of staff you will be required to contribute to the Department’s teaching activity through the design, assessment and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Forensic Science. You will be actively engaged in research involving organic mass spectrometry or related disciplines and be able to make a substantial contribution to the Department’s next REF submission. Applications from candidates who can contribute to, or complement, the existing research activity in the Department are actively encouraged.

You will be expected to have a keen interest in delivering excellent teaching, and be able to demonstrate creativity and innovation in curriculum and assessment design.  They will be committed to the pastoral care and academic support of students. They will be expected to carry out administrative duties to a high standard and contribute to the Department’s recruitment and outreach activities.

Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant discipline and a track record of publication in international journals; a track record of research grant winning is desirable. A teaching qualification (e.g. a PGCertHE) would be an advantage. Please see the relevant job profile for the requirements.
