Job Description

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Assistant Provost for General Education Implementation and other members of the BU Hub leadership team (Task Force co-chairs and General Education Specialist) in the Office of the Provost. The Assistant Provost for General Education Implementation works collaboratively with the academic instruction and operations units across the University to develop an innovative, top-quality general education program for all BU undergraduates.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., and one to three years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to write well and to deal effectively and diplomatically with various constituencies. Must be able to work independently, to anticipate office needs, to set priorities in consultation with others, and to handle sensitive/confidential information. Ability to conduct research (for example, about other universities and programs), to synthesize and analyze data and other information, and to produce reports, charts, graphs, etc., is desirable. Should be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with WordPress helpful.
