Principal Data Analyst
About the job
The Principal Data Analyst will be responsible for managing the complex integration of linked data into a secure data repository required to support timely, easier and efficient access to linked data for policy and program evaluation and research. You will also manage the maintenance, quality review and the delivery of the high quality linked unit record level data, developing and supporting specialist data base and data repository systems. This role will be located within the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) in the health and medical science precinct on North Terrace, City West Campus, next to the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Skills and Experience
You will have proved knowledge and experience in applying data management principles, practices, issues resolution, and assessing technology and information security and use trends at a senior level. Your research and analytical skills and your ability to problem solve and critically review data, meta-data and written material will be essential. Your exceptional communication skills will allow you to facilitate discussions, negotiate outcomes and foster effective external working relationships in a complex and inter-disciplinary environment.

In addition to your salary, the University will make employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% of salary on your behalf.
