The Centre for Ancient Cultures within the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies seeks to fill a continuing position to commence in January 2018. You will be expected to have expertise in the study of ancient Egypt, a dynamic research and teaching profile, and some experience in administration and coordination of staff.
As the successful applicant you will be expected to contribute to teaching in the undergraduate and honours programs. You will also undertake research supervision of honours and graduate students; engage in original and innovative research; be prepared to collaborate in research and team teaching; and support the Centre's engagement and public activities. You will play a key role in maintaining and expanding the Centre for Ancient Culture's existing strengths in history and archaeology of Ancient Egypt.
