The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Forensic Studies. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic academic with an ability and willingness to make a significant contribution to the growth of Forensic Studies within the Department of Applied Social Sciences through teaching and research. The BA Forensic Studies programme took in its first intake in September 2013 and is witnessing growth in student interest and applications. As our preferred candidate you will have experience of working as a forensic examiner and be able to offer expertise in crime scene investigation and some of the following areas:  research methods (including statistics and experimental design), academic and employment skills, presentation of evidence and the supervision of UG dissertations, and will be able to lead modules on the programme in this and related areas. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clear, achievable research goals.

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is home to a range of disciplines offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Theology and Religious Studies, History, Anthropology, and Archaeology.
