The Financial Analyst will work closely with BMC and BU administrative and academic departments to maintain and process payroll and billing functions as well as other functions as required. The analyst directs, controls and monitors BUSM core facilities scheduling- this includes oversight, investigation, intervention and collaboration with PI's and departmental managers regarding all operations, policies and procedures with respect to use. The incumbent will work with the Director of Financial Operations to develop and implement standardized reporting to monitor how effectively cores are utilized and make recommendations on how scheduling might improve use. Additional responsibilities include:
-Monthly funds report to Department Chairs
-Identify overspent accounts and work with section administrators on corrective action plans
- Approve daily payroll queue in SAP
- Review payroll queue transactions for accuracy
- Train department administrators
1-3 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required.
