The Opportunity

The appointee will be required to demonstrate the ability and willingness to teach courses at Masters level on a range of standard topics, especially, in the areas of Strategic Management, Human Resources Management and Project Management. The applicant should also demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

The Person We Seek

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A PhD in relevant subject area with a good, relevant undergraduate degree,
  • Substantial teaching experience and a strong research background
  • The ability and willingness to teach at Masters level and
  • Demonstrated ability and competence in research and administration.
  • For appointment at the Professor level, applicants must also have a distinguished publications record.

Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated excellence in teaching in a multicultural environment and maintenance of their subject expertise through research publication.


The position is available for a term of 3 years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.

Salary Range

Associate Professor FJ $111, 229 to FJ $125,133 per annum
Professor FJ $129, 078 to FJ $139, 543 per annum

The University may pay an inducement allowance to secure the services of an exceptionally well qualified candidate.

In addition to the above benefits, the University contributes 10% of basic salary to an approved superannuation scheme, provides airfare and relocation costs where appropriate.
