Salary: £49,772 - £55,998 per annum for appointment at grade 9 as Senior Lecturer or Reader.
If appointment is made at Professor of Management, the salary will be within the professorial range, Grade 10, and subject to negotiation.

With a focus on the Adam Smith Business School’s MBA and Professional Pathways programmes, you will lead and contribute to teaching, assessment, and providing academic leadership and management associated with these postgraduate programmes.  Further, you and contribute to continued excellent student experience, engaging in rigorous enquiry into learning and teaching practices. You will undertake scholarship that will advance knowledge exchange, manage and develop relationships with corporate connections, enhance public understanding of business and management education, and strengthen links with professional bodies.

For appointment at the professorial level you will make a senior leadership role in learning and teaching that supports the strategic objectives and priorities of the Adam Smith Business School and the College of Social Sciences in line with the University’s ambitions.  You will make a substantial contribution to enhancing a scholarly, research-led ethos within the School and College, undertaking substantial responsibilities associated with managing external stakeholder relationships that advance knowledge exchange, public understanding and outreach, and strengthen links with professional bodies.
