Salary Level 6/7: A$81K - A$96K per year (plus 9.5% employer superannuation and leave loading).
An exciting opportunity exists in the Grants Management Office at UNSW Sydney for a 12 month fixed term appointment as a Grants Officer.
The Grants Management Office (GMO) contributes to the University’s research performance and profile by contributing to the effective management of grants, contracts, consulting research and internal funding, the provision of high level record keeping and management reporting for the University Executive and researchers.
GMO teams work with researchers to ensure that all grant applications comply with sponsor requirements, are submitted on time and that researchers holding funding meet all sponsor financial and progress reporting requirements; and that information stored in the management system is accurate and reliable.
We are seeking a customer focused individual who has or can develop a solid understanding of research funding management and apply those skills to manage the pre and post award workflows for a portfolio of nominated schools and/or centres.
The position is part of a team dedicated to the management of grant applications, research funding and the delivery of high quality services to a cluster of schools and/or centres.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in the delivery of high quality customer service and substantial administrative experience in a high volume office environment.
