LSE Fellow in Philosophy of the Social Sciences

Salary is competitive and not less than £34,156 pa inclusive

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months, starting from 1 September 2017

The Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method seeks applications for a one-year LSE Fellowship in Philosophy of the Social Sciences.

The post holder's primary responsibility will be to teach courses in philosophy of the social sciences for undergraduates and MSc students. These courses investigate philosophical issues concerning the nature of social scientific theory and its applications.

An LSE Fellowship is intended to be an entry route to an academic career and is deemed by the School to be a career development position.  As such, applicants who have already been employed as a LSE Fellow for three years in total are not eligible to apply.
