Director of Estate Management
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Estate Management professional with significant strategic capability and vision to take overall responsibility for planning, developing and implementing the University's Estate Management Strategy.
The Director of Estate Management will be a senior and experienced post holder who will lead all aspects of the University's Estates provision on campus in Chichester and Bognor Regis as well as University owned or managed off-campus premises. The post holder will also provide professional support to the University's Multi Academy Trust which operates across West Sussex, Portsmouth and Hampshire.
Key responsibilities include the management of new and on-going major building projects and capital investments and the strategic and tactical planning of the development, re-development, maintenance and operation of the residential and non-residential estate.
The Director of Estate Management will have a sound understanding of the legal and financial aspects of major property construction and experience of planning and controlling major, complex capital development programmes. Excellent leadership, change management, communication and negotiation skills are essential.
