Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology 

Lecturer - £33,943 to £38,183 per annum, pro rata
Senior Lecturer - £39,324 to £46,924 per annum, pro rata
0.5fte 

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology to join the expanding team of academic staff in the Department of Psychology.  

The Psychology Department currently offers an established portfolio of British Psychological Society accredited undergraduate programmes and an MSc in Forensic Psychology (alongside a recently validated MSc Occupational Psychology programme). We have research strengths in the area of Forensic and Investigative Psychology; Brain and Cognition; Health, Work and Well-Being; Childhood and Youth Psychology; and Culture, Identity and Politics. We also have a number of PhD students engaged in these areas. 
The post holder will contribute to the Psychology Department’s MSc Forensic Psychology programme, as well as research and knowledge exchange activities.  The post would be ideal for an individual who is keen to develop an academic career alongside their Forensic Psychology practice. The successful candidate should be a HCPC registered Forensic Psychologist or a Clinical Psychologist with Forensic experience.
It is expected that the candidate will take up post ideally by 30th June 2017 or later date by negotiation.
