The role and your responsibilities
The Project Coordinator position supports the Centre for Innovative Justice in coordinating the Centre's work on the Positive Interventions for Perpetrators of Adolescent violence in the home (PIPA) research project. This will include arranging focus group interviews; promoting the outcomes of the project, liaising with stakeholders, project partners and the project's Steering Committee; liaising with legal networks to identify opportunities for promotion through media and events; formulating policy recommendations; drafting reports; and assisting with project management.
Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will bring to the role your extensive knowledge of legal and justice system policy and of the public, private and community institutions and agencies constituting the justice system. Your experience in research, policy analysis and advocacy including a track record of producing high quality written publications will be critical to your success in this role. Furthermore, key to this role will be your knowledge of the family violence and social services system. You will be highly motivated and pro-active with a proven track record of delivering quality outcomes.
