Employee Relations is a specialist HR team responsible for providing support to and advice on the development and implementation of the University's industrial instruments, remuneration frameworks including job evaluation, management of misconduct and/or performance issues, and liaison with unions on industrial issues.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide expert advice on a range of complex employment related issues with a focus on the development and review of employment policies within the newly established MQ Health portfolio.
You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the review and development of employment contracts and policy frameworks and align new policies to existing University policies where appropriate.
Working closely with the MQ Health Executive and the Employee Relations team you will have experience working within the Australian legal and industrial frameworks and preparing contracts and undertaking legal drafting. You will have exceptional attention to detail, relationship management skills which will enable you to interact with multiple stakeholders across the University.

- Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Law
- Experience in preparing contracts and undertaking legal and policy drafting
- Demonstrated experience in providing stakeholder management, expert advice and action with respect to legislative, Enterprise Agreement and policy requirements
- Demonstrated ability to understand, mitigate and respond to risk in the context of Industrial Relations and Human Resources

Salary Package: from $96,328 - $107,186 p.a. (Level 8), plus 9.5% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
