For many, our student years bring back fond memories of friendships, learning curves and budding careers.

Monash College is owned by Monash University, Australia's largest international university, and through this we provide a pathway for international students to access Monash University’s world-leading courses. As innovative leaders in pre-university education, we’re busy preparing our next generation to enter the global workforce.

Making this happen is our passionate team at Monash College, who each play an important role in helping our students thrive at university and establish successful careers.

Over the past four years the College has more than doubled in size, and with around 1,000 employees, Monash College has established a strategic project to become a centre of teaching excellence, with a focus on teacher capability through a comprehensive professional development framework, measurements and rewards to attract and retain the industry’s best teachers.

We think this is an exciting project opportunity, and here’s why.

As Project Manager – Teaching Excellence, you’ll report to members of the Senior Leadership to:

  • Research frameworks used globally in pre-university and higher education settings that foster teaching excellence and have access to leading education consultants,
  • Document current practices across our educational divisions,
  • Develop an overarching framework based on best practice and core principles that will underpin divisional performance, development and rewards,
  • Provide project management, governance, stakeholder management and communications at each stage of the project,
  • Use data analytics and insights to drive learning and teaching outcomes.

Who are you? You are an expert in learning and teaching. You have a proven track record in implementing large, successful learning and teaching projects in a tertiary and pre-tertiary educational environment. You have extensive experience in organisational development, research and data analysis and end-to-end project management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.

Why would you work with us? It’s simple really. You’ll work in a fast paced dynamic environment and you’ll be part of building our reputation as leaders in learning and teaching. While we work hard, we support you in return. We do this through access to great facilities, 17% superannuation, health and wellbeing programs and salary packaging benefits.

You don’t need to take our word for it. Use this 24 month fixed term contract to experience what it’s really like to work with us, after which we can explore opportunities to keep you in our team.

So go on. Be part of supporting our journey in learning and teaching excellence and the success of our students at university and employment.
