Senior Associate Director of Marketing & Communications

The primary responsibility is to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to position Boston University as a world-class teaching and research university committed to undergraduate education. This includes creating admissions communications that are designed to attract, influence, and inform target audiences of prospective students, parents, high school principals/headmasters, and guidance counselors. Utilize market research and data analysis to direct all facets of the conceptualization, writing, and design of print publications, digital and social media and the admissions website. Supervise and direct a team of five staff including specialists in digital and social media marketing, web management, direct mail marketing, video production, and print media. Manage $1.3 million dollar budget. Work with Associate Vice President for Enrollment & Executive Director of Admissions to develop and implement innovative enrollment strategy and to set direction and priorities for each enrollment cycle.
Bachelor's degree; strong leadership and communication skills; extensive knowledge of digital and social media marketing practices, preferably in higher education; and experience with CRM platforms.
