Job Description

The Research Study Technician in the Wilson Lab in the CReM will work with patient-derived stem cells to study lung development and genetic causes of lung and liver disease.  Techniques that will be part of the position will include induced pluripotent stem cell tissue culture, CRISPR/Cas9-based genomic editing of patient-derived stem cells, DNA and RNA extraction and manipulation, qPCR, protein analysis, cloning, and other molecular biology skills. Helping to manage the lab is also part of the position but time will primarily be spent performing experiments.  Position will entail working as part of a highly motivated, fun, and successful team in an outstanding environment! 

Required Skills

0-12 months of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Previous laboratory experience required.
