The School of Accounting and Finance offers subjects in accounting, economics, finance and law in cross-campus undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with subjects being taught by distance and internally at Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga campuses and through partners at Study Centre Sydney and Melbourne as well as at offshore partners. Courses are practically focused, and include workplace learning to ensure that our graduates are work-ready and equipped with qualifications recognised globally. We are committed to providing quality teaching informed by research and backed by a supportive learning environment. Our courses meet the academic requirements for accreditation with key professional bodies including CPA Australia, the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Financial Planning Association and ASIC.

The appointee will teach accounting subjects to on-campus and online students (on and offshore) at undergraduate or postgraduate levels. They will undertake academic administrative duties that may include moderation of partner programs. Active involvement in professional engagement and cross-disciplinary initiatives is encouraged. The appointee will be expected to actively contribute to the leadership of teaching and learning, scholarship and professional engagement within the School. In addition, the appointee will be the point of contact for on-campus students in the School at our newly-established Port Macquarie Campus. The appointee is also expected to demonstrate excellence in both student engagement and community relations, as appropriate to the position.
