About the position
This position is responsible for providing computer hardware and software support for staff and students at Bond University. Reporting to the Manager, End User Services and Platforms,
The Service Support Officer will install, maintain and configure operating systems, and application software on approved ICT equipment, as well as install, maintain and configure computer hardware, including printers and peripheral devices. Other responsibilities include; responding to Service Desk requests for assistance, escalating requests to other support teams, and follow through for resolution, as well as with assisting staff with Audio Visual operations.
About the person:
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in IT or possess an equivalent combination of industry qualifications and experience. They will be required to have a superior knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac hardware and software, including operating systems, Microsoft Office Applications and software deployment principles and processes.
A sound knowledge of Audio Visual requirements in an education environment as well as knowledge and understanding of networking hardware and protocols is required. Effective interpersonal skills and strong customer service skills are essential. Knowledge of Film and Television related software and hardware, aligning with industry best practices is desirable.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $63,564.04 plus 17.5% superannuation p.a
