About the position
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional administrator to join Bond University in the Office of the Core Curriculum. The Core Executive Officer is responsible for managing the professional and efficient delivery of the Core subjects of the University through building and managing relationships with academic and professional staff. The Bond University Core is completed by all undergraduate students. It establishes and begins the development of essential graduate attributes, supports students’ capacity to acquire the knowledge and skills taught in their discipline-specific coursework, and prepares graduates to translate these capabilities into successful professional and personal lives.
Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic), this role will be required to provide support and advice on staffing issues, ensure staff are orientated into the University, as well as ensure that all adjunct teaching staff are provided with the necessary information and resources to undertake their responsibilities.
The position is also required to be an expert in all aspects of the University Core subjects and have a working knowledge of the undergraduate programs of the University.
About the person:
To be successful for the position, the candidate must possess a relevant University degree or equivalent experience, coupled with extensive knowledge and experience working in a tertiary education environment.
Superior problem solving and communication skills are required, as is the ability to provide professional, quality client service when responding to enquiries and resolving complex issues.

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $78,712.66 plus 9.5% superannuation p.a.
