The Strategic Marketing and Communications Unit is seeking an experienced communications professional to fulfil the position of Internal Communications Coordinator.

This new role is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the first phase of the University of Wollongong-wide Internal Communications Strategy.

Responsibilities include the initial establishment of new communications channels as outlined in the Strategy and the systems to enable their ongoing maintenance and operation together with staff news stories, videos and other communications materials for publication on those channels.

The position also provides internal communications support to the Executive, divisions and faculties to improve staff communication and engagement or to meet specific corporate communications needs as required.

The Internal Communications Coordinator will report to the Media and Corporate Communications Manager and work with stakeholders across the organisation.
