Director of Student Wellbeing

The post is on the UE10 grade and a competitive salary will be offered,
commensurate with experience. 

We seek an outstanding individual, highly experienced in student support, who can provide strategic direction to the University’s wellbeing services (principally, counselling, disability and chaplaincy services) at a time of rapid growth in demand.
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary (Student Experience), you will work with your expert professional teams to further shape and develop the University’s wellbeing provision for its students, and to meet the high expectations of students and stakeholders across the campus.

You will be familiar with the challenges facing Universities and their students in the broad area of wellbeing, and you will have experience of successfully managing change and innovation in student support or similar area. Your professional background, knowledge and personal qualities will equip you to be the University’s principal Professional Services lead in respect of student support and wellbeing issues.

This is a full time post – 35 hours per week.
