Second Year Apprentice Chef
Customs House is The University of Queensland's downtown city base. Located on the river in the CBD, Customs House is a unique heritage venue catering for private and corporate functions from 6 to 300 persons. A range of beautifully restored function rooms is available while its riverside restaurant boasts great river views as well as excellent food and professional service.
In the role of Apprentice Chef you will assist the kitchen team in the production of restaurant and function food as directed by the Executive Chef while maintaining the high culinary standards of Customs House. Customs House is a 7 day a week operation but is closed on Public Holidays.
The successful applicant will need to have current work rights in Australia. The person needs to maintain a high level of culinary service, have a positive attitude and be a dedicated, professional team member with commitment and motivation.
This is a fixed-term appointment, as a Second Year Apprentice Chef. The remuneration $29,462.03 pa, plus employer superannuation contributions of 9.5%.
