Senior Donor Relations Officer

The Development and Philanthropy portfolio leads philanthropic fundraising efforts across The University of Queensland. The team leads and coordinates the University's fundraising activities and programs with respect to principal and major gifts from individuals and organisations, bequests and planned giving, leadership annual giving, and the University's major fundraising campaigns.
The Senior Donor Relations Officer works to support key strategic objectives within the Donor Relations portfolio. This includes key reporting requirements, introduction of key donor recognition programs and supporting fundraising operations.
In conjunction with the Donor Relations Manager (DRM), the Senior Donor Relations Officer will also be responsible for program analysis to effect business processes which may contribute to ongoing development.
Applicants should possess formal qualifications and relevant experience in a field relevant to fundraising and philanthropy. You should have sound experience in developing and maintaining relationships to enhance fundraising programs, as well as exceptional communications skills and qualities in tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment - at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $81,884 - $89,559 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $89,663 - $98,067 p.a.).
