The Coordinator, Curriculum and Quality positions will be responsible for the coordination of faculty specific support and provision of authoritative advice for curriculum development, course accreditation and quality assurance processes. The positions are based in a Higher Education faculty, and works in cooperation with faculty?based Student Administration staff regarding the coordination of accreditation activities and processes. The positions will be responsible for executive support of Faculty academic and advisory committees, and for the coordination of university quality assurance and equivalency processes within a Faculty. The successful appointees will also be responsible for provision of authoritative advice to academic staff on University policies and procedures that relate to curriculum development, course accreditation and quality assurance and provide project support as allocated by the Manager, Curriculum and Quality (HE).
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Extensive experience in an administrative role which required management of a range of functions and provision of advice about, and interpretation of, policy and procedure, preferably in a tertiary education institution.
- Sound knowledge of and commitment to quality assurance and improvement principles.
- High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders with a professional outlook and appreciation of sensitive issues.
