This full time post is available from immediately on a permanent basis

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide professional services leadership to the University of Exeter Medical School in the role of College Registrar.  With the recent appointment of our new Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Clive Ballard to the academic leadership team, this presents an opportune time to join and to help shape the future of the College.   Building on its success, the Medical School has a turnover of more than 40 million and ambitious growth plans which include academic recruitment in key research areas, exciting developments in new programmes and growth of the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) programme.

There are significant investment plans being developed in respect of teaching and research imaging facilities such as the MRI and PET Scanner and a strong partnership relationship with the NHS is crucial in respect of all these developments. To underpin these plans the Medical School requires the very best professional services leadership and therefore successful applicants will need;

  • excellent planning and project management skills
  • exemplary relationship/ stakeholder skills
  • the ability to work creatively with other professional teams on infrastructure solutions
  • commercial management skills to ensure the Medical School has a strong financial footing
