We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to perform fundamental and applied research in the Impact Engineering Laboratory at Swinburne University of Technology. The primary expectation of the position is to make original and innovative contributions to the advancement of research in the field. In addition, the position will be required to contribute to the supervising PhD students as the need arises.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- An earned doctoral qualification in mechanical, structural engineering or a closely-related
- A sound knowledge of structural mechanics and solid mechanics
- Knowledge of advanced numerical modelling using finite element analysis
