The Boston Women's Workforce Council (BWWC), a public-private partnership between the City of Boston and Boston University dedicated to gender pay equity, seeks an Administrative Assistant. The BWWC has partnered with over 180 Boston-area employers to create The Boston 100% Talent Compact, a first-in-the-nation, business community-driven effort to level the playing field for working women via data analysis and best practices sharing. The BWWC Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director and manage the daily operations of the Council. The Administrative Assistant will also help with event planning, member communications, community engagement (largely through monitoring and attending relevant community events), managing daily expenses, tracking invoices and monitoring the budget, and assisting the Executive Director and Council members recruit new companies to the 100% Talent Compact. This is a full-time (40 hour/week) position, with flexible start and end times.
1-3 years of experience and High School Diploma required. Associate's or Vocational degree preferred.
