Research Assistant - School of Dental Medicine, Orthodontics

The primary purpose of this position is to support the efforts of the Research Director in administering the research activities of the department. This may include managing our databases, scanning films or casts to add to databases, and coordinating visits for research subjects. The incumbent will scan models and radiographs from Forsyth twin study as well as coordinate patient visits for multiple clinical studies. The Research Assistant will also manage and organize research data using software and enter CBCT data into repository. The CBCT data are computer files that contain 3D xray images. They need to be anonymized, stored, and sometimes manipulated.
0-2 years of experience and High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Computer skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and work ethic are critical and can substitute for formal education.
