Term: Fixed-term (four months)

St Mary’s University is proud of its high employment record with 95% of graduates being in employment or higher education six months after graduating.  Its success in this area comes from a strong collaboration between the Careers Service, the Centre for Workplace Learning and the academic programmes across the University.  To help us to ensure continued success in this area we are looking to recruit an Employability Researcher on a fixed term contract to assist in designing metrics and collecting and analysing data relating to student employability.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree and experience in research projects involving quantitative and qualitative research.  They will have the confidence and experience to assimilate information, design metrics and analyse complex data.  They will be required to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve results and so must possess good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as on their own without close supervision.
