About the job 

You will provide highly specialised technical electronics expertise and support for the laboratories in the School of Engineering with particular specialist expertise in areas such as electronics, mechatronics, and control systems. 

Skills and Experience 

A relevant degree qualification and relevant work experience; or a completed advanced diploma qualification and relevant work experience in a research and/or development environment is essential. You will also have specialist knowledge in at least one of the following areas: mechatronics, control gear and real time systems.

You will be able to demonstrate work experience in designing, fabricating, operating and maintaining specialist electronic equipment including designing and manufacturing Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), along with demonstrated electronic and analytical skills appropriate to effective problem solve and support a diverse group of users.
