Learning Designer or Learning Technologist
Classification: ANU Officer Grade 6/7 and 5
Salary package: ANU 6/7 - $75,608 - $85,570 Per Annum plus 17% superannuation - ANU 5 - $66,904 - $73,309 Per Annum plus 17% superannuation

ANU Online is embarking on the development of new high-quality, technology-enhanced programs. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of blended and online learning.
Multiple roles are available to work with project teams in support of the design and development of effective, innovative and fit-for-purpose curricula. Learning designers and technologists will work along- side teaching staff and others to develop approaches to teaching practice which are context-sensitive, sustainable and improve student learning, by making appropriate use of educational technologies, learning resources, activities and experiences.
The Learning Designer will play an important role providing advice to development teams and facilitating projects aimed at rethinking teaching practice and on the design, use and implementation of innovative approaches and technologies. The Learning Designer will cultivate collaborative approaches to development, identify learning needs and solutions and create and manage digital learning resources.
The Learning Technologist will support and assist teaching staff, project teams and learning designers by participating in curriculum design processes, creating and managing high-quality digital educational resources and assisting with technology administration and training.
The positions are located within ANU Online, as part of a group of education specialists brought together by the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education & Global Engagement) in order to further the University's digital learning strategy.
