Senior Administrative Assistant

This role will act as an executive assistant to provide advanced, high volume, hands on administrative support directly to the Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy. Contact and impact of work includes key constituents both internal and external to the University. Ensure all administrative activities of the Director's Office are conducted seamlessly through careful attention to detail and consistent follow-up and oversight. In this fast paced environment, professionalism, sound judgment, thoroughness, speed, and attention to detail are essential. Compose correspondence and documentation on behalf of the Director and conduct necessary research to ensure all the topic details are accurate and complete. Manage a busy and constantly changing calendar of meetings and travel. Conduct Research on funding opportunities and prepare proposal documentation according to the funding organizations compliance regulations. Process and monitor department expense against established budget(s) and process all expense reimbursements for the Director, staff members and visitors.
B.A/B.S. degree required, strong communication skills, both written and oral, ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects independently and meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, extensive computer skills, including MS Office and one to three years of experience in clerical/administrative position.
