ICT Security Manager
The position is responsible for management of ICT Security issues and strategies across Information Technology Services (ITS) and more broadly within the University community. The role includes the development and implementation of procedures and standards around an ICT Security Framework, ongoing compliance assessment against the framework, and communication on ICT security matters to University members and ICT operational support staff.
In the role you will:
-Develop and maintain an ICT Security Framework, based upon an agreed standard that is applicable across ITS and the University community.
-Perform compliance reviews, across ITS and University business units, of business practices and security measures against the Security Framework.
-Provide expert advice on contemporary ICT security issues to technical staff, line managers, and senior managers across the University.
-Develop and maintain policy, procedures and guidelines, around ICT security issues.
-Investigate and report on ICT security breaches, including mitigation actions and implications of breaches.
You will be employed on a full time, continuing basis.
To be considered, you will have:
-Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in ICT security or extensive experience and management expertise or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
-Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ICT Security Framework, including policy and procedure development, within a modern ICT environment.
-Expert knowledge of contemporary ICT security issues, trends, risk mitigation strategies, and threats.
-Expert knowledge of ICT security tools and associated software products.
-In-depth knowledge of various hardware and software platforms.
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $122,987 comprising base salary within the range of $91,020 to $105,117 plus 17% superannuation.
