Client Support Specialist

As a member of Boston University Medical Campus Information Technology, the Client Support Specialist will focus primarily on Service Desk intake and resolving client support issues via phone or by remote technologies, at the first and second technical levels. The Client Support Specialist will answer questions and provide technical help to faculty, staff, and students who use Microsoft Windows- and Macintosh OS-based computers, In addition the Client Support Specialist will support a wide variety of personal computing applications, University networked applications and resources.
As scheduling permits, the Client Support Specialist will also work with other IT groups on testing and projects.
Provided the basics of Service Desk coverage are maintained, the position provides the opportunity to develop technical skills and to learn to resolve more complex problems over time.
3-5 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required.
