Customer Services Manager (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 21.6 hours per week. Early mornings, evening and weekend work may be required.
Starting Salary: £19,202.40 per annum based on the fulltime rate of £32,004 per annum

The Department of Library and Learning Technology provides resources, collections, technology and learning support to enable students to flourish. We are the first point of contact for all general library and IT questions and we are continually seeking innovative ways to use our resources to enhance and transform learning for students and staff.
We are now looking to appoint a Customer Services Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. As Customer Services Manager, you will play a key role in the operational management and development of customer service in an integrated library and front line IT support environment. You will manage a team of multi-skilled customer services assistants across two sites who deal with all library, student IT and general enquiries, referring students on to specialists within or outside the department where appropriate.
The hours of work are likely to be Monday 9am-5:15pm, Tuesday 1:15pm-9pm, and Thursday 9am-5:15pm
You will have a professional library qualification and a good understanding of the requirements of operating an integrated library and IT support service with multi skilled staff. Excellent communication skills, an analytic approach and management experience are also all essential criteria.
