Starting salary for Professor from £60,879 - £67,185 per annum with further progression opportunities to £83,397

Starting salary for Associate Professor from £55,998 - £59,400 per annum with further progression opportunities to £68,865

The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences works closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care. We are involved in world-leading research projects, responding to issues at the forefront of health and social care practice. Our research influences policy and professional practice at a local, national and international level.

As a Professor or Associate Professor of Digital Health and Tele Health, you will:

  • Be expected to strengthen the Department’s research using your expertise in Digital Health and Tele Health, through joining an active and productive group of academics. You will also engage in attracting external grant funding, academic publishing, knowledge transfer, continuous professional development and other forms of external engagement and professional practice, as appropriate.
  • Be committed to excellence in teaching, enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy and you will contribute to education delivery, including programme management as required, across the range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Make a significant contribution to employability, and professional engagement with relevant internal and external organisations, at a regional, national and international level.

You will be based in the Department of Nursing and Clinical Sciences, Lansdowne Campus. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively within Bournemouth University and with external partners relevant to Digital Health and Tele Health.

You will be qualified to Doctorate level or equivalent in a relevant field. You will have demonstrated global research leadership and you will be committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
