Pro-Vice Chancellor – Research

We are seeking to appoint a Pro-Vice-Chancellor – Research. This is a vital
appointment with a key focus on driving the University’s approach to the
forthcoming REF. Leading and implementing the University’s research strategy, you will be responsible for defining and enhancing research performance. Working as a crosscutting Pro-Vice-Chancellor, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the faculties, other crosscutting PVCs, the Executive Board and key stakeholders.

Candidates will demonstrate an outstanding track record of academic leadership, alongside the ability to set a vibrant, strategic vision for Research.

An inspirational and motivational leader, candidates must have substantial
experience at a senior level, within an academic or industrial setting.
