Contract Establishment Officer
About the job
In this position you will support the Senior Contracts Establishment Officer and Manager: Research Projects Development to expedite the processing of legal agreements for research projects, ensuring that the University’s risk exposure is managed effectively for all contracts. A key component of the role is the negotiation of contract provisions with collaborating partners and ensuring that researchers are aware of and understand contract implications.
Skills and Experience
You will have tertiary qualifications in an applicable field and relevant experience and/or significant relevant knowledge and experience, together with proven skills and experience in contract negotiation and administration. The ability to critique legal documents and provide feedback to administrative, legal and academic staff is also essential.
