Instructor and Professional Development Collaborator
To provide highly effective, informed, strategic and hands-on support to CEP staff in the work to promote and support quality teacher preparation through the four pillars of the CEP’s Professional Development School Model: Educator Preparation, Faculty Development, Inquiry Directed at the Improvement of Practice and Enhanced Student Engagement. This requires intentional collaboration with and among school district partners to provide and promote the connection of pre-service and in-service teacher development. Opportunities to teach within the CEP, as well as support student teaching placements, will be paramount to the position.
Required Job Qualifications
- Five years PK-12 teaching experience
- Masters degree in education or related field
Preferred Job Qualifications
- Experience working with novice teachers
- Experience mentoring new teachers
- Experience with co-teaching
- Experience planning and/or leading professional development
- Evidence of experience with culturally proficient training/knowledge/practice.
