The primary purpose of this position is to manage the daily services/functions of the office of the registrar at the School of Dental Medicine.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Perform the systematic and recurring annual review of the academic programs and policies in the University Bulletin

Interface with all departments at SDM,BU IS& T, University Provost and University Registrar's Office to update the Bulletin

Collaborate with the SDM Registrar to identify problems, make decisions and find solutions in order to improve processes utilized to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, alumni and staff. Organize, monitor and be responsible for all aspects of orientation, registration, tuition and fees, grades, transcripts, leaves of absence, withdrawals, dismissals and suspensions, student records and graduation

Devise and implement the process by which the office releases data and reports. Produce, analyze and provide statistical reports when requested. Maintain the maintenance, integrity and retention of all academic records(current and past)

Required Skills

3-5 years of experience and Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Must have current knowledge of state and federal regulations related to student records and higher education practices. Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with a diverse student population as well as faculty and staff at all levels. Requires excellent problem solving skills. Proficiency with student information systems and Excel a must.
