Vacancies have arisen in the Schools of Computing Electronics and Mathematics, and Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering for an accomplished Senior or Principal Lecturer in a relevant discipline looking to combine their academic role with Leadership and Strategic responsibilities. Allocation of time will be 50% Senior/Principal Lecturer and 50% Associate Head of School. Whilst this is a permanent appointment, tenure to the specialist Associate Head of School element will be by way of a secondment of 4 years.
With specific responsibility for developing and managing the Student Experience within the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Automotive Engineering, the Associate Head of School, Student Experience will report to the Head of School with a functional reporting line to the Faculty’s Associate Dean Student Experience. You will be expected to monitor student experience at course and module level and lead the development of innovative pedagogical practices, including digital technologies.
Both positions will ensure portfolio objectives are understood and applied effectively in fulfilment of the University’s Mission Statement and Corporate Plan.
