We are seeking a highly innovative individual with specialist knowledge and skills in learning technology and/or e-learning to contribute to the strategic direction of technology enhanced learning across the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. You will be part of a newly formed multi-professional team based in the Centre for Educational Development and Support (CEDS), focussing on the development of academic and continuing professional development education. You will lead projects that embed innovative e-learning approaches into mainstream learning and teaching activity, develop and teach on online modules, plan and undertake pedagogical research projects and contribute to the planning and delivery of staff development activities. You will also be expected to lead and contribute to inter-Faculty e-learning projects, learning from and contributing to, a culture of best practise. You should have a higher degree in either education, learning technology or information technology, demonstrable successful innovations in learning technology, with experience of teaching in an online environment.
