The Open University is developing a Centre for Childhood Health and Wellbeing and is looking for an experienced researcher. You will be located in the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies and work with us in the area of childhood wellbeing and healthy weight. You will help to develop the new Centre and work in line with the aims of the Open University’s Children’s Research Centre, joining us in our mission to empower children and young people as researchers. The initial focus will be related to research and development concerning children’s and family’s perspectives on wellbeing and healthy weight. You will work in collaboration with and under the direction of the childhood health and wellbeing research team allied to the Children’s Research Centre.
To be considered for interview, you should have completed a doctorate in a relevant discipline, have appropriate experience as an independent researcher, have worked with non-academic partners, have excellent organization skills and a proven ability to write for academic and non-academic audiences.
