This post offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled researcher in evidence synthesis to join the School of Clinical Sciences Musculoskeletal Research Unit as part of the newly awarded 5-year NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). Working within the Surgical Innovation theme, the post holder will be expected to develop and deliver high quality and rigorous research that aims to improve outcomes after orthopaedic surgery. This will include undertaking systematic reviews on a range of relevant topics to inform the development of novel complex interventions to improve outcomes after joint replacement. This post is part-time (0.5FTE).
 
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent considerable experience) in a discipline of relevance to evidence synthesis. We are particularly interested in appointing someone with specific knowledge and demonstrable experience of conducting systematic reviews in a healthcare setting.
