The Integrity and Investigations Unit works within the Chief Operating Officer portfolio and is responsible for the investigation and/or case management of matters involving alleged/suspected misconduct by University of Queensland staff. The unit is also responsible for the development of initiatives and strategies aimed at preventing/reducing staff misconduct.

The role

The successful appointee will work within a small team to conduct and manage investigations into staff misconduct matters and contribute to developing and delivering awareness and prevention strategies to university staff.

The person

Applicants should possess post graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline such as human resources, industrial relations, business, law, investigations or have an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

You should also have significant experience in conducting misconduct or fraud related investigations in an educational or public sector environment including those involving complex financial analysis.

You will need highly developed problem solving skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.

This role is a full-time position; however flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.


This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 8. The remuneration package will be in the range $92,811 - $104,210 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 17%.
