As a Project Manager/Senior Research Fellow, your role will contribute leadership to the Statistics for the Australian Grains Industry (SAGI) Western Node research program funded by the Grains Research and Development Corporation under the direction of John Curtin Distinguished Professor, Adrian Baddeley. The main purpose of this position is to provide leadership for the biometrics for the WA grains industry across an agreed range of research themes.
This unique opportunity will allow you to utilise your strong leadership skills, knowledge of biometrics, research and project management skills, and make significant contributions to the SAGI program. You will be working within a multidisciplinary team of energetic researchers and research students.
A doctoral qualification combined with high level experience in biometrics and statistical research relevant to the grains industry is essential. Demonstrated leadership and project management will be considered essential tonsure that the program meets its targets is paramount to your success in this position.
The Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM) is a national research centre co-supported by Curtin University and the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). Launched in 2014, the centre’s major aim is to reduce the economic impact of crop disease for Australian growers.
