<p><strong>Daphne Jackson Fellowship - University of Roehampton.<br /> Daphne Jackson Trust</strong><br /> <strong>Location:</strong> University of Roehampton<br /> <strong>Salary:</strong> Dependent on qualifications and experience<br /> <strong>Hours:</strong> Part Time<br /> <strong>Contract Type:</strong> Contract / Temporary<br /> <strong>Closes:</strong> 30th April 2017<br /> <br /> Applications are invited from UK residents for a Daphne Jackson Fellowship that will be hosted by the University of Roehampton.<br /> <br /> The fellowship is intended for individuals returning to research in the broad disciplines of Zoology and Ecology, and they will join the Centre for Research in Ecology (CRE) within the Department of Life Sciences.<br /> <br /> The University is committed to the principles of Athena SWAN and the promotion of equality and diversity. Applications from women and minority groups are encouraged.<br /> <br /> The University of Roehampton will host and half sponsor this three year fellowship opportunity. The remaining funding will be secured by the Daphne Jackson Trust from an additional sponsor.<br /> <br /> <strong>Daphne Jackson Fellowships</strong><br /> <br /> The Daphne Jackson Trust is dedicated to returning scientists, engineers, technologists and mathematicians to their careers following a break taken for family, caring or health reasons.<br /> <br /> Daphne Jackson Fellowships are unique - They offer STEM professionals wishing to return to a research career after a break of two or more years, the opportunity to balance an individually tailored retraining programme with a challenging research project in a suitably supportive environment.<br /> <br /> The Fellowships consist of a challenging research project and at least 100 hours retraining per year.
